The Things I No Longer Apologize for in a Relationship

At this stage in life, I’ve stopped apologizing for things that once felt like flaws.

I don’t apologize for needing space.
I don’t apologize for having boundaries.
And I definitely don’t apologize for wanting honesty over comfort.

There’s a freedom in that.

When you’ve lived enough life, you start to realize that the right person isn’t someone

you have to constantly adjust yourself for. They meet you where you are—or they don’t.

And if they don’t? That’s information, not failure.
